Any idea as to an estimated time of arrival?

It's a long, sad story of loss, heroism and redemption that I won't get into here.
You'll just have to wait for the movie.
Negotiations for the rights are well underway with both the Hallmark and Lifetime channels.
The part of "Slipkid" will be played by Brad Pitt.
As for 'Zilla, an unfortunate casting call was put out for a man in a rubber suit. That error has been corrected. |

Go with Johnny Depp. He's got the goatee thing going that is so critical to the look. |

I also have been told I look like are Eric Clapton, Tom Savini, both the main characters in Bosom Buddies, Ed Norton, and some guy who was one of the three Muskateers in the 70's version, but mostly Michael Gross. |

No, I recognize a bald spot when I see it. I was talking about the bare wall in the man cave after I take the 2010 calendar down and don't have the 2011 to put in it's place.
If I really like the January picture, I might just leave it on that month for awhile. I have some car calendars that I just leave up for years because I like the picture. |

But really... we have not forgotten.
One thing zilla is doing is that the first month of the calendar will read "March". I still don't want to tell the other thing but it is pretty cool and worth being surprised.

Location: Right now? | Make your printers partially refund your money, Brad! Surely, they wouldn't argue with you ... considering these ARE calendars we're talkin' here.
Tell your printers: Late calendars ... should get refunded $2.50 for every month missed. ($30 / 12 months = $2.50/month refund/discount for every month of the new year missed or partially missed)?
Tell them to hurry up or they'll have to start giving them to you for free!!! You should also tell them that they made some mistakes last year that you hope they don't repeat ... some of my lovely pages were double exposed. I didn't mention it back then, because there was no point in aggravating you over an honest boo boo.
I'll bet it's a pretty one, whatever the case. Then tell your printers they should compensate you somehow for the STRESS you've had to endure because of all the hassling (archaic word) you're getting! Yah never know ...

Since we don't really know where the hold up is, probably best not to be casting blame where it may not be appropriate.
and since I always personally consider the calendar a "gift" in and of itself, I will happily pour myself another drink and patiently wait until it shows up at my mailbox! |

Its a pretty cheap way to fill up the holes until you can hang up real guitars or a colorful neon sign. |

Let's see..."it's the money". I guess 30 bucks might be of great concern, especially when you've laid out somewhere probably north of 7K for guitars in a few weeks.
"it's the transparency...". Not everybody is comfortable broadcasting every intimate detail of their personal lives on a public forum.
I hope for the sake of the soul you profess that you are truly repentant when you discover (as you will) the myriad reasons for the delay. |

| "I'd like to know...Is it a secret?" No, just no desire by those involved to air private issues in an attempt to get public displays of sympathy; some people believe their private lives should be private.
"why not in a PM to all concerned?" Indeed, why DIDN'T you PM your concerns, instead of making three separate snarky posts about the subject in three separate threads within a matter of minutes?
"But the personal attacks?" Exactly. Why post snide insinuations of something nefarious on the part of two individuals who for YEARS have been VOLUNTEERING their time to this project, and have always done a superb job?
"why the double standard" That is PRECISELY our question. Why do you hold others to a different standard than you hold yourself?
Paul, I'll contribute the the refund. |

You and Steve have my respect and gratitude for making a special extra effort for all of us here, and helping keep this site running for our members around the world. You guys rock! |

I've been told I haven't "personalized" my space here at work. Apparently it's custom here to add personal touches to your cubicle...
Must be the corporate equivalent to "flair"
This calendar will look good on my otherwise bare half-walls. |

We had some of that going on a few years ago and I took down the approved artwork and taped up a poster of a Porsche 959. We compromised on some nice prints. I'm sure the calendar will be very tasteful. |

Just a thought... any reason why we can't run the next Calendar on an offset besides Jan-Dec?
In our Planning department we run the Oct-Sep Fiscal year.
We've been running our Government on one Month continuing resolutions!!!
Uh-oh, here comes Al... gotta run. |

| Hey - I thought my posting was hilarious. Let's have a few of those Iffy emoticons of an F15 having hysterics and a few burning crosses of delight.
Dammit moody - are you dead or not? |

.
BTW... with about 4 hours of uninterrupted work I got all the envelopes stuffed and addressed.
Still have to fill out the forms for mailing across the ponds but that won't take to long.
Most... maybe all... will go out tomorrow. |

Most... maybe all... will go out tomorrow. I haven't done 4 hours of uninterrupted work in my life. You should play a guitar for a living. |
