The little ribbon that holds the case partially open on my 9117 has come loose from it's insertion point next to the accessories box.

Anyone know how to repair this?

If it's just come unattached, slide a dinnerknife down each side on the foam-case contact, shoot some epoxy in there, shove the tag back in, pull the knives out, and let 'er set up overnight. Should do it.
Now, if the ribbon broke off, you're screwed. You will have to fabricate a new one, long enough to attach inside the lid, and extend into the bottom; probably using the dinnerknife scenario again.

oh... and don't let the wife know you're using the dinner knives. Nylon webbing from REI works great for replacement ribbon.

Good point there, Noah. Maybe, use a couple of popsicle sticks. And, there should be some ribbon laying around, leftover from Xmas.
What? Your bag-of-coal didn't come gift-wrapped?!
