Borrowing someone else's words from a post "Now is the time" for USA made Ovations to come in to a new awareness of their worth.

The VXT, LX and Wood top USA models are in the past now.

The solidbodies from the 80's are starting to rise to the $500 plus range fairly consistantly.

Just saying...

Can't Outrun the Years (J.W. Everitt / D. O'Keefe)

(A)Ever since I've known you, (E6)You've been on the run
(A7)One hand is a wheel, And the (D)other is a (Dm)gun
A(A) smile that's been twisted, By (E6)restrained tears
(A7)Eyes that keep flashing,'Tween the (D)road and the (Dm)mirrors
(A)Always trying to close the distance, (E)Trying to outrun the (A)years

Self-made cannibals, Love it rare and raw
But leave your old bones, For a child to gnaw
Or you'll go to the dogs, Like sheep to the shears
If you can't tell the difference, 'Tween the bull and the steers
You'll never close the distance, You won't outrun the years

It's the (Bm)dream of flight, That (A)makes a baby crawl
It's the (Bm)waters of the heart, Make (F#m(swimmers of us all
'Til we (E)run out of love, Then we (D)drown as we (Dm)fall

Denatured by electrons, Dazzled by technique
The less you have to say, The more you'll need to speak
You'll pray that delusion ,Overtakes your fears
'Til you're the blind man who sees, What the deaf man hears
You may yet close the distance, But you won't outrun the years

You'll pray that delusion, Overtakes your fears
'Til you're the blind man who sees, What the deaf man hears
You may yet close the distance, But you won't outrun the years

I agree Woody. Don't much care for the contour backs either. I am on the move and snagging any of the good old ones I can find.
