Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Of course, that's a joke. Only a small amount of snow in Denver, but some temps down around twenty below with wind chill down to around 40 below. Based on what the media is reporting for everybody east of here, we came out of this easy. Supposed to be back in the upper 40s by the end of the week. Everybody be safe. Protect the gear! |

minus temps one day and mid 40's and sunny the next with virtually no snow.
the only problem I have had is the humidity (from keeping the guitars at a decent level) freezing on the windows and then eventually melting onto the sill. |

Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | Hot Springs has about the same weather as Denver right now. There are about two inches of snow on the ground and although it was 23 below last night, today is a bit better and tomorrow we'll be back up around 40. Looks like it's going to get cold again next week though. Monday's high is supposed to be around 11 above. |

The fog was unbelievable this morning. I couldn't see 10 feet in front of my car. I had to drive my in-laws to AC Airport... there was a 15 degree difference between Marlton and AC. AC was around 53 degrees and there was barely any snow on the ground. Everyone that I've spoken to in NY and North Jersey was slammed with ice. |

My son is driving back from Virginia. Took the southern route to avoid weather. He's in the middle of Texas where it's snowing and near zero. |

| I just got done taking the trash out to the curb . As I was walking down the driveway which is sloped about like most peoples roofs I began to ski. Not intentional but like when you were a little kid and limber. Of course I new I was going down and would probaly end up in the fetal position sucking my thumb and crying. I suddenly remembered to put my feet sideways and balance. Now mind you I had a trash bag in one hand and a trash can in the other which I was trying to use as an anchor. I made it to the bottom still standing and felt really lucky . The only thing that would have made it better is if I didnt have another bag and can to take down. The second time I went at it like an 8 year old with no fear and had no trouble. |

Location: Capital District, NY, USA Minor Outlying Islands | We haven't seen a temp above 32 since before christmas. It's like living in an ice-box. Snow is mid thigh. I walk out to my garage thru a hallway of snow. No place else to put more snow on the driveway. I'm at capacity. Afraid what will happen if we have a quick melt in February, possible flooding. Roofs are collapsing. Skiing however has been most excellent! |

Spend two nights with a friend, about a mile from work. Much easier commute with the ice.
Got home to a solid ice "speed bump" at the end of my driveway, courtesy of our town snow removal team.
My guitar student and his mom came over Tuesday and shovelled while I was away, so I didn't have a whole driveway of ice to try to chop up tonight. It took a long time to get rid of the speed bump, though, and we have yet another storm predicted for Friday night/Saturday, with another 4 inches or so a possibility.
The house is staying at about 41% humidity, so the guitars all seem to be o.k. so far...but I am SO tired so shovelling...and shovelling...and shovelling...

Location: Budd Lake, NJ | It's a nice toasty 15 degrees here right now; black ice has caused some really nasty accidents. Only about 30 degrees tomorrow, but we're almost halfway through February, and that rodent-thing they dragged out of his burrow the beginning of the month didn't predict six more weeks of winter, so maybe...............(well, I can hope, can't I??) |
