I've been looking for something to replace my old Takemine stage guitar and have been noticing the rave reviews on elite t's. A google of elite t's shows new price at ZZZ sounds of $599 http://www.zzounds.com/item--OVA1778T and $999 at Musicians Friend. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Ovation-1778T-Elite-T-Series... Are these the same guitars? Whats the deal, and do these guitars play and sound any good for a single acoustic Neil Young type player?
I notice some pretty good deals in the For Sale section.

They look to be the same guitar to me. As far as sound, they are reported by many here to be the best "bang for the buck" from Ovation. I have played a couple, and was favorably impressed. So much so that I have one on order now. I think Oddball has one for sale in the sale section now.

Might be a case of a website not being updated.
$600 seems to be the going "blow-out" rate.

Just curious Jim, Where are you getting it from,is it custom from the mothership, or used or what?
