| I've been looking for something to replace my old Takemine stage guitar and have been noticing the rave reviews on elite t's. A google of elite t's shows new price at ZZZ sounds of $599 http://www.zzounds.com/item--OVA1778T and $999 at Musicians Friend. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Ovation-1778T-Elite-T-Series... Are these the same guitars? Whats the deal, and do these guitars play and sound any good for a single acoustic Neil Young type player?

Location: South of most, North of few | They look to be the same guitar to me. As far as sound, they are reported by many here to be the best "bang for the buck" from Ovation. I have played a couple, and was favorably impressed. So much so that I have one on order now. I think Oddball has one for sale in the sale section now. |
