Location: GA USA | I had posted this on FB, but I just thought some of my non FB OFC friends might be interested. I Illustrated a children's book that is being published in hardcover now. It's called...
Pretty excited. If you wanna keep updated, you can find "Are You Sure That Was A Rabbit?" on facebook. I expect the more likes we get, the better it looks to the publisher. The official website is ThereGoesARat (dot) com (not a lot there now, since we don't know a publication date yet).
What's next? I'm already working on a book based on my Possum & Chicken Song I wrote for a contest on Ukulele Underground. HERE is my sketchbook blog for that book. I actually think it may be the better children's project.
Anyway, just wanted to invite you all to be happy for me.

Can ya do an ol' timey 'flip book' of "John Belushi Crashin' a Southern Style Smokies Jam"? Or "A Yankee Dun Gone Snipe Huntin'"?
Or really go educational and depict the real meaning of the "Mason (Jar)-Dixon line"! |

| I must admit to being impressed.
Were I to hear that my favorite guitarist is going to be playing nearby, I have to think about whether I want to go. If I hear my favorite author is signing books at a local bookstore, I'm there. Now I have a favorite illustrator.
Good luck, and I hope it proves to be as profitable as it appears to be interesting. |

Location: GA USA | Thanks, folks. I have a friend (goes to my church) who drew one of the top kids picture books of last year. He said he still hasn't seen much money from it, so we're not expecting too much fame and fortune. But it's been great fun so far. |

You certainly have paid your dues with all the crap assignments you've had to take on in the past.
.
I get a kick out of Keller's "Deer In The Headlights" look everytime I see it.
That's the way he really is.... really. |
