I love the fact that Charlie's helicopters used 2 side by side rotors (spinning in opposite directions). This eliminates the need for a tail rotor, therefore allowing additional power to be put into lifting (instead of anti-rotation). I'm not a helicopter pilot but I'm sure this simplifies the flight controls too, making it easier to fly.

And what an amazing leap to go from such an innovative aircraft design to guitars....wow...and thank you Charlie!

It's amazing that they had that capability back in the 50's. It makes me wonder what capabilities exist now that we don't know about.
