Bobbo, it's a perm silver sharpie, I guess we'll see. Lord knows it's gonna get played still. |

Great pictures -- again! |

I've seen A.DiM a couple time now (both solo and with RTF)... he is definitely one of the scariest guitarists on the planet.
I'm sure it's not everyday someone shows up with a guitar for him to sign and probably not as nice a guitar when they do?
So many artists refuse to sign anything now (can't really blame them). There are several guys here in town (autograph hunters) that camp out in the hotel lobby of whatever big act is playing here, get the artists to sign as much as they think the person will put up with... Then at the next record con or trade show, they are all there flogging the autographs for all they're worth.
Nice to see Al could spot a fellow player and laid down such a nice sig for him. |

It is located where Damon can tilt the guitar forward and see it... Right-side-up Too.
Whenever I see guitars with signatures on the front for sale, I always think...
"Why would I want a guitar with Graffiti on it?"
That one is just a personal reminder. :D
I like it. And I wouldn't worry about it wearing-off neither. |

Signatures aren't for everybody, but from those individuals who have a special association to a specific model, I think they're very cool. Was it much of a hassle to get the guitar to him? |

It was pretty easy. I wasn't going to bother him at first, but the rest of the guys in the band encouraged me, so I did. I talked for him for just a moment and let him know I loved it even better than the last time I saw him on the Kiss My Axe tour.
Afterwards I thought that was kinda bad letting him know it had been 18 years since the last time I went to a show.
BTW, he signed my Friday Night in SF CD too, plus I bought a pre-signed poster for the music room.
It was a really good night. |

Good pictures, as always. I used clear nail polish over an autographed baseball in 1972 and it still protected. |
