Location: Louisville, OH 44641 | I have a blue Adamas 1681 that I love dearly. But I'd like to know if the Mother Ship can add more of those sparkly things (I sound like my teenage daughter) to the top and also to the body. Or are the sparkles part of the original paint?

They did it as a burst when the top was painted.
Send yours in and have it repainted. Also ask if there are color options for the sparkly things.

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | I asked for heavy multi-colored sparkles on the bowl of my 1187, and heavy gold sparkles on the front. You can really see the bowl sparkles below. I don't know if they can add sparkles to an exisiting color, or have to respray the entire top/bowl. Let us know what you find out.

Location: Louisville, OH 44641 | I'm concerned about adding another coat of paint in that it may change or deaden the golden tone. But I could certainly learn from the professor (good one eh?) and repaint the body with multi colored sparkles...very cool.
Thanks. |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Stellerjim, I may not have been clear. My 1187 was not a repaint. It was ordered this way new from the factory, so I don't know if the sparkles are mixed into the original top and bowl colors, or sprayed on afterwards. If the latter, I'd say you have more options. |
