....my S771 has the Delrin Compensated saddle that is deforming under the strings. I have it strung with the Nashville High strings and the octave G string is burying itself in the saddle!

I want to replace the Delrin saddle with a bone or Tusq saddle.

The Mothership does not have any...only Delrin (rather odd methinks). So, before I stop at the local Music Store or GC, I thought I'd check the Hive Mind.

Anyone here have an extra blank that's not needed? I'm most happy to pay! If not, I'll stop and buy a blank (two actually because I'll probably ruin the first one)....I have a Dremel Tool somewhere that I can use....

Many Thanks!

If you can't find one, Steward Mcdonald carries about everything you'll need. They are on line.

You'll find something there for sure. If you don't see a saddle ready-made to fit your guitar (...and you WON'T), they'll have a blank you can work with. You need the proper thickness. Standard is either 3/32" or 1/8". Then they have "very thick" so you can sand it down.

Then you need it to be long enough.
Then you need it to be "high" enough.

I always but 2 : )
