and here .
I assume the customization is to make it easier for him to do that tuning thing that he sometimes does while he plays?
He's a great guitarist showing off some great chops! |

Location: Connersville, Indiana | Wow what a player. Since I don't know that much about the Adamas guitars, what is customized, other than the tuning pegs in the back of the head stock so he can do his tunings while playing, which is unreal. Thanks Alan, I better practice more. |

schroeder: I've been listening to Legg for a long time, but hadn't caught him playing the customized Adamas before. Take the blinkers off, buddy; not everyone's lived your life, or even the life you think they should have lived! |

Adrian was here a few weeks ago. He has his little custom guitar now. I like his slow stuff better and he has a slow songs album out that is pretty good. You can actually pick out the melodies. |

Until I came to this site I had never heard of him.
And even now, I have only heard him play on a coupla YouTube videos (linked from Here).
I have mentioned his name to other people, and they don't know him neither.
(Apparently he is not as popular as some people think) |

Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba CANADA | Back in the early 90's, a guitar player friend of mine asked me to pick up some Adrian Legg music for him if I ever came across any in the thrift or used music places I frequented. I found a cassette for him (possibly A.L.'s first, as it looked like a private release...). I listened to it before I past it along and was BLOWN AWAY!! The technique was just spooky!! I've been a fan ever since.
He seems to be more well known in the UK than here, but most of the guitar players I have asked (whether they had heard of him...) were clued in, so he is becoming more widely known amongst players, at least. |

I had never heard of Adrian Legg until I read something about him on this site. A couple years ago I saw an ad for him at the local guitar store (now closed) and bought a ticket at the bar I walked past on the way back to the office. $10 for 2 hours of great guitar and Adrian's witty banter (those Brits just talk funny, right Schroeder). Same thing, same place, a couple weeks ago, except there was no ad in the local guitar store. |
