Location: Jet City | So this is OT for sure, and Miles and AL may slap me saying it's spam, but there was a recent post talking about displaced workers in Connecticut and I thought maybe I'd reach out to any technical folks that might be affected by cutbacks. I know we have several members in the area, and one I've met personally (and had some killer pizza pies with)that spent quite some time looking for work in this challenging economy.
I was slapped with a half dozen technical support positions from the Moosup area to Westport and a couple places in between. If anyone has a tech support background and is in need of work, please contact me.
Miles/Al, if this is a no no, just let me know. Really I could just look for people on Monster/Dice/Careerbuilder, but I figured I'd try and help fellow members out first if any are in need.

Location: Jet City | Hi Carol!
Yep. I see openings in Worcester, Pittsfield, and Canton.
For everyone else, there's stuff in WA, OR, CA, AZ, NM, CO, AR, D.C., FL, IN, IL, IA, KT, NY, NJ, LA, MD, MI, MA, MN, NC, OH, OK, TX, VA, WI, and AK
I guess if we have ANY members with a technical background that needs work, feel free to send me a note. I don't work on all of these positions, but I can get your info to the right people.
Please use my work email though:

I am moving back to Conroe/Magnolia are (near Houston) in Texas towards year end.
I had planned on either retiring or semi-retiring but this might be interesting.

For example, recent gigs Al is working on are a Functional SAP Analyst, Citix Developer, UI Developer, Network Engineer, Windows Admin, Helpdesk, etc.
