Based on the serial number date (120883), it appears to have been made on December 8, 1983.

Definitely custom shop. Kinda monochromatic. Somebody messed with the electronics (or at least the knobs, but it looks like they are stacked volume/tone) and messed with the bowl.

Not my cup of tea......

Very interesting to my eyes because it's a prototype...
The herringbone binding is not common and if I'm right, only few protos and 1657 Anniversary model have this specification.
This guitar is probably a transition between 1537 and 1718???

Probably a proto for the short-lived 1735 Legend Elite from '84-ish. Non-original electronics look like Fishman
