I've tried to look this up with 'search' but can't seem to find what I want. And I've been away from the forum for a while. (Stopped posting regularly right after Fender acquired Ovation.) So if you would be kind as to (likely) repeat what's going on in Hartford . . .

Have they stopped making ALL Ovation guitars there except for special order and customs? Do they still make Adamas in Hartford? And the former Ovation factory is now (primarily) making Guild guitars?

Kind of irritating to see so many 'X' models on eBay anymore. Seems like hardly any of the 'real thing.' And what's with reissuing former numbers? The 6868 is — was — an interesting 1990s SSB with outies. Now it's an Elite Standard with innies. WTF?

Signature models and Adamas are made in New Hartford. Just about anything can be ordered.
New Hartford is still an Ovation factory.
It also makes Hamer and Guild Guitars.

IDK, that may be true. But the Ovationguitars website is chock full of errors, too, so if that is your sole source on the 6868 it might not be true.
