Hey!

i was posting in the general section... duh!

Id recently got an ovation typhoon 2. Its pretty cool.

I just need help with the action since i find the strings to be too high from the fretboard.

Some guys in this forum have been very helpful with this.

My question is, is there a bridge replacement thats not as high as the one it comes with? it's better the neck shim? Or, as i been told here, this bass has a neck tilt adjustment? I hope i could get some info on how this tilt works

thx a lot!!

remove the plastic neck bolt cover and you will see a hole for the allen bolt neck-tilt adjustment. Set the neck angle a little more acute so the fingerboard moves closer to the strings then adjust the action at the bridge.

Fender got credit for coming up with that idea in the '70's but Ovation and maybe others were doing it 3 years or more earlier.
