Location: Michigan | i just bought something on e-bay thursday night using my pay pal acct. i have not used this credit card that is listed on this acct for over 60 days and the very next morning my bank was on the phone saying that my card security was breeched and someone was trying to pay for a car repair for $267.00 in italy ???
i am looking :D overseas :D for the culprit , any suggestions members ?? :eek: GWB :D |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | I drove Alfa Romeos for 15 years. Loved them. Best handling and most balanced cars I've ever owned. My Veloce spider had over 267,000 miles on it when I finally gave it away. The switch gear and gauges all eventually failed, the body floor pan had just about rusted completely away, and the top leaked like a sieve, but the running gear worked just fine and I absolutely loved driving it. Unhook two simple latches and the top went down in about three seconds on the fly. I carried extra accelerator cables with me and got to the point where I could change them out in less than a minute on the side of the road, which was necessary because they'd break every few months. Unfortunately, for the newer high-powered sedan, the servicing dealer also sold and serviced Ferraris, so there was never a routine maintenance service that cost less than a grand. |

Location: Texas | GWB - PayPal is supposed to be very secure. It is certainly suspicious timing, since the transaction occurred right after you used the card for the first time in a long time. Did you notify PayPal of the suspicious coincidence?
You aren't on the Playstation Network are you?
I assume the credit card company immediately issued you a new card/account number and cancelled the old one? If they did, your EBa/PayPal transaction might not go through, but If they didn't, you need a new bank… |

Location: Parrish, FL | Had an 87 Quadrafloglio Spider that I picked up cheap from a co-workers son. I put new brakes on it and a drive shaft bearing and drove the wheels off it. Absolutely loved that car and it was the only vehicle I've ever made any money on.
I've got an 05 Miata Mazdaspeed now that is as much,if not more fun to drive but it doesn't have the pinache of the Alfa.

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Now that was very funny, Waskel. I went flying over some railroad tracks one day and the car just quit after landing very hard. I looked in the rear view mirror and scattered to hell and gone were the remains of my battery, parts of the posts still attached to my cables. It had fallen through the rusted out bottom of the trunk. |

Location: michigan | Paypal will send you a debit/Mastercard. Once they do, I used that credit card to secure the transaction (I don't think payal is aware of this). But you can use your PAYPAL card, against your PAYPAL account to secure your transaction.
(Please don't tell them, but it has worked for me for a while) |

Location: Michigan | hey standing , yes the bank declined the card in italy and did re-issue me a new card no hassles at all. i contacted pay-pal and they were what i thought that they would be,
'the attitude was that would be almost impossible to have happen and so on .
i felt like i was wasting my time talking to a manager about it .that is how sometimes we get attitudes and do not try and pass along info to them .
and that is how you get the idgaf going .

Location: Jersey near NYC | AmyB and I had a very similar problem on two different cards, the common denominator was Apple's Itunes. The cards were both validated by Apple, but no charges were made to Apple. Once the cards were validated, we both had multiple charges to our cards, including a pair of laptops...
I'm just sayin' is all...

Alfetta GT - panic stop on autobahn between Manheim and Heidelberg. Windshield popped out and hit the rear of the car in front of me.

I thought GWB was kidding. He had all kinds of smiley face things in the message and I assumed no one laughs at getting their credit card stolen. But you know what happens when you assume things. |
