Location: Flahdaw | Not to beat a dead horse, but seriously....does the bridge really need to be that big? Wouldn't that have at least a slight detrimental effect on the top vibration, or not really? |

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | I'd bet that with the SS eppi and that Op Pro Studio, the thing thumps on the bass end. I just put a set of EXPs and hole plugs on the treble side of mine, and now everyone who hears it wants to play it.
dark bar ... it doesn't look any bigger than the one on my Adamas II. |

Here's the 2088:
Here's the 1687:
Maybe it needs a bigger surface area to make sure the extra pressure doesn't pop it off? |

…and then there's this one:
There are several new Adamas model-numbers listed with no photos or descriptions yet… |

I just noticed the Mellissa Ethridge icon on the fretboard. |

The pink Adamas can be yours:
Two and ONLY two of these Adamas 1598-MEII Melissa Etheridge signature model 12 string guitars have been custom built in PINK for the Hard Rock's Pinktober campaign for breast cancer awareness. Melissa will play them both during her summer tour. At the end of the tour, she will keep one for herself and the other will be auctioned on ebay with proceeds going to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Melissa will personalize an autograph on the guitar for the auction winner. Guitar case included. Details about the auction will be posted in coming weeks.
About the guitar: The custom pink Adamas 1598 features a white angel wing epaulette, black tuners and breast cancer ribbon icon fret markers. Unidirectional carbon fiber top provides extreme strength with very little mass for the truest enhancement of a string's vibration possible. Mid-depth cutaway body and 5-piece mahogany/maple/ebony neck with ebony fretboard and urethane oil finish provide the ultimate in playability and projection. --------------------

Q: How long does it take to tune a pink 12-string?
A: No one knows… |

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | All the Adamas and Ovation 12 String bridges are longer ... It kinda' makes sense, since there is so much more force pulling on all those strings. Check out the Adamas tab on the OvationGallery link. Dave has both 6 and 12 string Adamai lined up on the same page. You can clearly see the comparison.
...Speaking of the OvationGallery page .. Dave, did you buy that 12-String WT Adamas? |

Location: Flahdaw | I didn't mean just wider, (although it does look wider than even the average 12ver bridge)I mean thick and fat. I know it's carved and all, but it just looks like a big piece of wood....bigger than it NEEDED to be. |
