So as to not confuse the issue, I decided to start a new thread about this fine instrument I just recently aquired. Does anyone know for sure how many of these were made? Or offerred to the public? I know sometimes the number made and the number offerred for sale is different. I can safely say (for those of you that have never played one) that this is one of the finest guitars I have ever played. Check one out if you get the chance.

Alan, I can't answer your question but I agree with you on this instrument. I've had the chance to tried one back in 2006 (selling price was 1.400 euro) and it sounded so good. I decided then to get myself an original one. I did it and I own now a 1967 Deluxe Balladeer and I have to say that it is, as you already said, one of the finest guitar I have ever played.

Thanks Bernie. That's what I was looking for. Guess I should have tried a search. Lol.
