He described the GEORGE name on the TRC too.
Somebody is scamming somebody!

Location: Seymour, Tennessee | Lefty, I'd give this guy a call right away.
Not accusing you of anything but if you've read these last few posts, you are now aware that you are in possession of stolen property.
Things could go bad for you legally if you sell it, it's known as trafficking in stolen property, dealing in stolen property, etc depending on the jursidiction.
You don't have to know it was stolen when you got it but you cannot sell it now as you would be willfully perpetrating a crime that I'm sure due to the value of the guitar would be a felony.
Just my two cents.... |

My intention was to inform Lefty that he could get in trouble with ANY dealings with the guitar, and that is indeed how I should have phrased it.
Lefty, please accept my appology.
I just sincerely hope George gets the guitar back.... |

Frankly, the moderators should probably close and hide this thread while the authorities investigate⦠|

Location: Barkhamsted CT | Well its true, i purchased the guitar today. When i posted the first question i did not have it. I've called George and the police.
Thanks to all of you who didn't jump to conclusions. Besides, we needed to spice up this page anyway.
So much for my lefty conversion. |

Location: New Hartford CT | You guys are amazing. Lefty Steve has restored my faith in humanity, letting me know he does have the guitar #698. I told him not to worry about the money, I'll reward his honesty. Mike Winters saved the day. Now maybe I can figure out what happened to my Adamas Millenium. It was stolen at the same time as the balladeer. It's 1 of only 75 produced. With the information the police now have to work with I am hopeful they can put put it all together. |
