I was looking at a 1687GT on the 'bay and suddenly realized that for the first time, a multi hole Ovation doesn't have a rear hatch. Is that the case for all multi hole O's & A's which have OPPro and similar guitars?

Did it come with a mail-in rebate form for $10 on a Dremel?

No. As a matter of fact, all my Elite-style have a hatch and the 1617-4 Legend doesn't.

Legends and Balladeers don't have/need hatches.

At the Roadshow, I was told that new Adami don't have/need hatches.

All the work inside the body is pretty much done before they glue the top on...

Anything else can be done through the preamp hole.

Since the Truss-Rod adjustment is in the headstock, you don't need a hatch.

It was also decided the they sound better without the hatch.

I'm sure that makes replacing a brace more fun.
