Location: Tennessee | The guy who plays mando/guitar/uke with me has one of those, along with a footswitch for his iPad, and all of his songs are on there in the right order for the set list, and it's fully self contained and he's all set for the show. And then one small disconnect and all you've got is a train wreck.
I'm with Brad. |

The one on the guitar is a little odd.. but check these out..

I have used RAM products for years for all sorts of mounting scenarios. |

But I've got well over 100 and adding all the time, and with advancing age resulting in diminished brain retention facilities..ah, I for got what I was going to say...... |

It's gotten to where I can't read that 18 point type on the music stand in front of me.
.
Just as TV goes hi-def..... my eyes go low-def.
.
If I'm playing for people I have to know the song well enough to at least it doesn't look like reading off a sheet.
It's nice to quickly look over a sheet before starting, just to refresh the memory.
On a rare occation, for instance if I was playing for some close friends oh say maybe sometime next week... and I had a song 85% down but wanted to give it a test drive anyway.... then I might use a cheat sheet. |

Sorry about my sloppy performace on the above sentence in my last post.
I was momentarily possessed by PEZ. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | This looks like it would interfere with my beer holder. That's the only thing I use the mic stand for. I have a mic on it too, but I never use it, so I shove it out of the way so I can reach the beer easier.
As far as gigging, if I ever do, I'll have to wear my bifocals. The contacts just don't cut it without bright light and large fonts. I'm not up Beal's 100 songs, but probably pretty close, and they are in various notebooks and tab sheets. I've tried to organize them, but never got there completely. If I did a gig, I'd probably have to organize the songs. Another of many reasons why I don't do gigs, I guess. |

I cheat by listing the 1st few words of the songs verses in the order they are sung. That's usually enough to get me through the song. |

And I checked the song book, it's not 100, i8t's a whole bunch more. |

I was doing an Eagles song one time. To my horror I sang.... "I got an EASEFUL PEASY Feeling". |
