I think the original plan was to build 50-100(?) of the complete sets of book instruments (6 string, 12 string, Viper, bass and mando) and sell them as complete sets. Didn't quite work out that way. I only knew one person who had a complete set and I think he accumulated it slowly.....

The plan was for 30 sets.

1996-1966=30, kinda sneeky, huh?

But Moody's right, it never worked out that way.

Wow! Thanx for the info fellas..I thought there were a lot less than that...I was under the assumption, there were only 50 Tamo ash blues & and around 20 of the 'Orange' ones built...
