He's ready to ship the first of my re-builds.
He and Kim have delivered quite a few stellar guitars over the years. But this is the first time John Budny has said...and I quote....
"It looks amazing."
Now for the agony of the wait.......
Patience Patch.....
ARRRGGGGHHHHH!
I said patience Patch!
Sigh...... |

It's THIS ONE. But John hasn't sent any pictures, and as I'm told misery loves company, I guess we all get to wait and see.
Funny how this thing has been a work in progress for almost eight months, but this last day or so while I wait for it to arrive seem interminable.
Yes, it's killing me. |

Forget about UPS. There are only 2 words that should echo in your head----- ROAD TRIP!!!
I'm sure you know how to get there. |

I would not let any carrier near that guitar. |

Location: Steeler Nation, Hudson Valley Contingent | Now all of you know I love visiting the factory. But there is no way I can break away any time soon. I'll be adding it to my Clarion policy before it ships, and then holding my breath.
The only good thing is that New Hartford is close enough that it will likely get here overnight.
Hopefully it ships tomorrow. Cross your fingers.... |

Kim Keller gave me a call just a bit ago because he didn't realize I had already talked with John. I've talked with Kim quite a few times, but I've never heard quite this tone of pseudo-maniacal glee as he said, "This thing looks KILLER!"
He then proceeded to send me a lo-res cell phone photo.
John and Kim: The Masters of "Wait Until You See This In Person!"
I love those guys, but they're killin me! (And I think they enjoy it. ) |

Patch, I hope they weren't looking at the invoice!
Good luck with your guitar. By the way I live and work near the factory, would have been glad to take some high res pics and test it out for ya' ^5's |

Call them and tell them to hold off shipping until after they've installed some string tubes. |
