Co Written with my good friend from Scotland Harry Edgar. I thought his voice was perfect for this song. I hope you enjoy the music. |

You mentioned you co-wrote it but did you play any of the instruments or sing on any of the tracks? |

Location: Connersville, Indiana | I played the rhythm guitars, created the bell and water effects, and sang with Harry on the Chorus. I wrote the lyrics, Harry wrote the music for the song. He is playing a tele for the lead. He also played the rest of the instruments. I wrote the song for my next door neighbor Doc and Donna. Doc had a 35' sailboat and went to lake Michigan all the time. Donna got tired of the boat thing, and Doc had to sell his boat. BTW: Doc and Donna love the song, which makes me very happy. |

Location: cincinnati, ohio | BTW - I had time to go in and listen to your stuff tonight. I was struck by this Q&A on your profile:
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Only to sell the rights to a song. I am not polished enough to be effective.
To that I say - "bull$h@t!" You sell yourself short, Kit, my friend. Those songs, your voice, and the guitar work knocked me out. They're perfectly suited for what you do, and to hell with polish. The songs, and the performances, are REAL In the end, that's what matters. Incredible stuff. |

And Rick, your awesome. I'm working on my next cd Guitar Mann I have 6 songs done and 1 in the process of being done. One of the great advantages of working with other Sound click artist, Like Harry, and Phil, and Mary Clare, is that we do it all over the internet on our own recording equipment. So it doesn't cost us anything except the internet cost. I've been real lucky to work with the above named people. Just like they call me if they need help with a song.
I'll sell enough cd's around here to pay for making them, then I'll just give them away. I know sounds dumb, but If I can touch one person with one song, my job is done. Then I try and do it again. Now that don't mean I wouldn't trade a cd for an Ovation :D |

I agree with Rick, (and I believe I have mentioned it before) your songs don't need more "polish." All "polishing" would do is remove the emotion. If "polish" was the key, there'd be an old guy named Zimmerman greeting shoppers at a Walmart in Minnesota right now. |

Location: Connersville, Indiana | Well my new song Sister Sadie Blues is almost done. Sent back for lead guitar add, vocal during chorus, and mix and master. This is a more older style blues song. Lord it took so long recording my guitar part, I had to try every Ovation electric I have. I tried all different pick up settings, tone and volume and I mic-ed the amp also, and finally found the sound I liked for this song, with my UK ll. When finished I'm really hoping that the pull up a bucket of Iced beer, while sitting in a juke joint in Mississippi, effect is what the listener finds. I'll post it when it's finally done and hope you all enjoy it. :)
Thank you all for your support and comments on the last song.
