there was a very unfortunate accident at the home of steven curtis chapman on wednesday, the 21st. his five year old daughter was struck in the driveway by a car being driven by steven's 17 year old son. maria died soon after.

here's a clip that steven made of he and maria washing dishes a couple months ago. steven improvises a dishwashing song about halfway through the video clip. my prayers certainly go out to their family.

maria

Randy, I heard about that last night at practice. I can't imagine the grief they are going through now. Thanks for posting this. They will be in my prayers.

Losing a child... I don't even want to think about that sort of agony. Prayers and thoughts are on their way.

Having no children, I can only imagine a fraction of what they must all be going through.

Here's hoping whatever faith they believe in sees them through.
