Location: Louisville, OH 44641 | I bought a VXT recently and quickly discovered it has a battery. Is this for the acoustic pickups or does the VXT have active electronics?

Location: Upper Left USA | It runs the preamp that mostly processes the Piezo outputs but also blends the Mag pickups with them. The ag pups end up going through the preamp but are not technically "active".
One fresh Duracell should last for the whole day but always change it out when you have a session coming up. If left to sit but still plugged in it could run down.
