Location: Marlton, NJ | I recently got a Custom Legend and need to pick up an amp. So far my top choice is a Roland AC-60; from what I remember, it sounds good, and it's flexible enough to also use it as a mini PA. I like the built in chorus and reverb too.
I've also wondered about getting a multi-effects device, but the AC-60 would probably cover the effects needs.
What are you guys using with your Os?

Location: Jet City | The AC60 is very versatile and part of my setup no matter what the venue. In larger venues I use it's eq and tone settings to shape me sound and go line-out to a PA.
As for effects, I don't use many on the acoustic, aside from what's on the amp (and hardly anything but reverb there), There are those occasions where a volume pedal or even an overdrive are needed (think Man Who Sold the World, Nirvana style). Because I play both electric and acoustic I have these effects already on the pedalboard.
Both signal paths run through the board first, then I split them with a Lehle switch (the absolute friggin best switches on the planet) and the electric goes to the high-gain Carvin. The acoustic goes to the Roland with a Takamine DI in the middle. From there it's line out to the PA. |

Location: Seacoast NH | My buddy and I use a 4 channel Roland at BBQs and parties and the like, and it does a great job on both guitar and vocals. I think its actually a keyboard amp, but sounds great regardless...
I'm currently using an older DOD AcousTech multi effects, but I', hoping Santa is bringing me a new Zoom A2u for Christmas. |

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | "" on the Zoom A2.1u. For the money, I think it's the best on the market, and built to last. Even a mediocre guitar can sound good with one of these. Lots of different guitar and amp models, with all being modifiable. There's even an Adamas model (: (Of course that was the main selling point for me) |

Location: San Francisco, CA | My favorite Ovation tone is Paul Simon's at the 1981 Concert in Central Park. Paul's setup was:
Ovation Custom legend > BOSS DM-2 Analog Delay > mic'd Roland JC-120 with the Stereo Chorus feature turned on.
I follow his example with my 1990 Model 1869CL although with a slight change since I don't own (or want to carry) a JC-120. My setup:
Ovation 1869CL > BOSS DM-2 Analog Delay > BOSS CH-1 Super Chorus > mic'd '72 Fender Vibro Champ.
Sounds GREAT!

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Primary amp is a Genz Benz Acoustic Pro for the A/E gear. I run it clean with the tube preamp set at full throttle, then use a pedal board which contains the usual assortment of FX, but for piezo equipped acoustic guitars, I primarily use a Zoom A2.1u with a dozen of my own custom presets. For other gear (electric single coils, humbuckers), I bypass the Zoom and use the other pedals. The signal also runs through a Takamine DI+ box which I love, particularly for the boost and cut features. |
