My '85 Collectors has been around for 2 years. It is a fingerpickers delight.
As I pick with 4 fingers, it occured to me to reverse the g-strings to get the full sound picking "up" (nut filing required). Read later that David Crosby did this. Common practise???

Jokes? Having successfully reversed my G-strings, I can barely contain myself...

Rickenbacker style. Never knew that Crosby did it but it makes sense given the Byrds and McGuinn. The interesting thing is the the g-strings are not reversed on the Martin HD-7 (Roger McGuinn model).
