Location: Boise, Idaho | That's the same or similar to the wood topped Adamas they had on the Roadshows. Deeper than the 1537 because it had the suspension ring. I really liked it, but couldn't talk anyone into buying it for me. |

Location: Utah | The one on the roadshow was a terrific guitar. I think Sara and I were the only ones who played it there because it was up out of the way on a stand and nobody knew it was not a basic Celeb or O.
It seems Engrish is not the native language of the ad writer in the link. |

Location: SoCal | At GuitarTrader/MusicPower, never got a chance to lay my hands on it during the tour...too many excited (assumed) non-Ovation players hanging onto it. Good dealer that I have bought new Takamines from (LTD2010 and LTD2011); didn't find this guitar on Al's site (doesn't mean he doesn't have it).
However, from what I saw and heard, a 1537 would interest me more even though I have a pre-production one. For the price, I would suggest you check out a 1687 or 1581 Adamas - less dollars yet superior...Al has those. Once you play a 1687 or 1581, you will not go back. |

BITOD (Back In The Old Days)... I don't think it would have cost as much. Of course it now it come out of a custom shop.
This reminds me of something that happend BITOD (see above).... At every Ovation factory tour I attended there was always this one guy that during the Q&A with the Ovation mucky-mucks, would suggest that Ovations are being sold "way too cheap".
I guess you have to be careful what you wish for.
.
I'd reveal this OFC members name, but I'm just not in the Moody. |
