If you have not read the Announcement section or been to the Ning site lately, you might want to check it out.
Looks like the OFC might go dark for awhile.
At least you'll know why.

I have been working with the vendor who is doing that actual move and upgrade to insure all goes smoothly. Moving 70,000+ files and importing them into a database then copying that rather large database onto the server is no simple task as just finding that much bandwidth is a chore in itself, but we are also dealing with having to get certain protocols bypassed to enable a connection for that amount of data to move at once, and to hold a connection for that long.

But we got it all sorted out tonight and just in case there are any more hoops we opted to start the actual movement of files tomorrow.

I don't expect the actual outage to be very long. Maybe a couple of hours. Then the task of moving the other non-forum pages will have to happen along with some housekeeping chores, but the forums will be the first thing up and running.

Oh, my bad. I thought this site was going dark in solidarity with the Stop Ovation Persecution Act. There's a lot of that going on today.
