Which inspired me to do this...
But it ended up looking like this...
So I survived my first neck reset, plus I glued that nasty crack back together. It used to look like this...
I neglected to take a photo of the heel... But you can still see where the crack was, but it is together now.
That heel cap pulled right off once I had disassembled the neck, but now it is on there permanently.
And I am quite satisfied with the string height and the way it turned-out. I put a fresh set of EJ16's on there, and it did not fall apart! :D |

"Where did you get that quilt? That's worth more than the Guitar!"
Then they were horrified to discover that I actually USE it as a quilt! |

Most likely a Guitar Tech or Luthier! :D
If it works - I'll share the credit and if'n it don't - we never had that conversation!
The bolt ons are sure a lot easier to deal with. |
