I don't know what the numbers were regarding how many were made... but you would think after 20+ years of playing Ovations and 10+ years of collecting them... I would have seen more then the one I own. I have only "heard" of one other one all that time. They are out there, but I guess a sign of a good instrument is one that no one is willing to give up.

It took me three years, but I finally tracked one down. And that's looking everyday either in pawnshops, guitar stores, or on line. I've traveled the entire country and stopped in shops the whole way. I checked e-Bay twice a day, every day. I've left messages here, on Harmony-Central and several other websites. My advice, be patient, vigilant, and more importantly, lucky.
