Location: NJ | show time is playing this movie currently. i suggest you check it out. the ramones are an acquired taste but they did speak to we disenfranchised back in the 70s.
the movie reveals how much johnny and joey hated each other how different they were and the reason for thier 18 year battle.
good stuff. |

I met him several times, along with marky, and johnnie at the NY guitar show. Dee Dee was always very polite but it was obvious that drugs were a big part of his life.
in about 1983 I was at emerald city in cherry hill nj and was playing space invaders, I was way early for the ramones show that night. I felt this prescence behind me and then a ehhhh stench. Well it was Joey ramone with a babe on each arm. Mind if I play? he asked nope I'm finished I told him. It was a wonder how those women could stand him it had to be the leather jacket that stunk. but after a few minutes the game room was mobbed with people bothering him. he seemed like a nice guy but shy. |

... there's the title of your AutoBiography, Al. Good story.
I haven't seen EOTC and as a Ramones fan, I'm embarrassed... |
