Location: big island | i now recall that i saw a video with earl scruggs playing along with clarence and some of the other "byrds" members. here's a great clip of clarence's muleskinner band. if ya' don't like bluegrass, don\'t click this link
by the way, clarence was loading up his equipment into the back of a vehicle in july 1973, a few months after this video was made, when a drunk driver hit and killed him. hendrix said clarence was the best guitar picker he ever knew. |

I wish I were closer to be able to jam with members other than at the tour and special events...gonna try to make the SJ2 in a few weeks...however, I have been able to jam with Wayne Henderson and the folks (famous and not so famous) who stop in at Wayne's Guitar Shop from time to time..in fact I'll be there next Thursday night...now thats some great pickin! |
