I have a 1990 Acoustic/electric 1767 Ovation Legend. It is in excellent condition, and I have the hard shell case. What is the best way to sell it, and how do you figure how much to ask for? I live in Philadelphia.

Thanks,
Brian

Hi.

I just sold a Legend on eBay a few days ago. eBay will definately get you the most visibility. My guitar auction got almost 600 views. Making a nice looking layout and good quality photos makes a big difference in how people perceive your auction. You can view mine here:

Depending on the condition of your guitar and case, I think you can get anywhere from $300 - $600. A lot depends on timing and exactly who might be shopping at that time. I got a pretty good price for mine because the buyer is a student of Guitar Craft and had to have that exact model and configuration.
