You can all rest easy now ! |

But typing in all caps is a dead giveaway that you are indeed a bit moody, and perhaps even a bit guitar wannabe. Or maybe it's all a bit of roubische. |

Location: Yorkshire, England | Right Vic, I see what you mean - well, I did treat myself to some guitar strings, not a full set mind, only three. Things are so bad over here, what with fuel prices and the like, that's all I could afford. I will save up though and buy an E,A and D for Christmas ! |

Vic
..as to StoneyBob , leave that joint for a minute , and listen up :
A Geordie is land -possessive , never ever would he jump on a caravan to go raving the country , after all , having been besieged by , Vikings , English ,and even Romans , they have never yielded , rumour has it , that when the Romans were building walls , much of said walls disappeared through the night , and allthough stones were never recovered , ( they could n `t speak " tyke " so could n`t ask any -one ) ,yet, them Romans did notice a number of new houses forming , go figure.. ;)

Location: UK | Welcome back Captain Black , though i sence a creeping resentment of the hugely popular insomniac pop quiz , i do believe it was you who after page 3 of that thread declared it
" boring " , i can see you now realise nothing is ever too boring , trivial or bizare to provoke many and varied replies . Seeing as you seem a little bored at the moment how about i challenge you to play open mic at the Stubbins Warf in Hebden Bridge on a wednesday night and give one of those fancy schmancy guitars an airing |

Location: Yorkshire, England | Hi Andrea - did I declare your quiz boring? I must say sorry for that, I will keep my thoughts to myself in future.
I retired from the club circuit last year and can't say I've had any real desire to go out singing again, but thanks for the challenge offer. What happens at Stubbins Warf anyway? Is it a kind of folk night or something?
Is it near to Hebdon Bridge Social? I've played a few pubs & clubs that way over the years. |

Location: UK | Morning Captain , Stubbins is a great pub on the canal in Hebden, good beer and all that plus they have a slightly intimidatingly good open mic night , plenty of music going on in Hebden , think you mean the Trades Club which is still going strong , played on a benifit night there myself. There s also the Fox and Goose which has a kind of bluegrass jamming session on tues / wed with fantastic beer / real ale thing going on , won awards , standard of play there way beyond me . |
