Condition: Very Good, Plus.
- Cosmetically excellent, but it was used extensively as a studio guitar and there is some player wear on the frets and fretboard. Nothing needs any professional attention; it just got played a lot even though well cared for.
I worked it over and set it up to new factory specs and installed new strings (coated D'Addario, same as the factory uses). It plays beautifully, is very resonant, and has a nice balance with the deep bowl punch. Some Ovations sound muddy in the middle, but this seems to have better clarity and has nice sustain and ring.
