SCOTTSDALE, Arizona — Genz Benz Enclosures, Inc., is proud to announce The Eagles have just kicked off a lengthy “World Tour” with a back-line that includes three Genz Benz Shenandoah 100 acoustic amps.
The venues are large arenas and the Shenandoah 100 acoustic amps are being used with some of the band member’s Takamine acoustic guitars as well as by the group’s violinist for on stage monitoring.
Victor Rodriquez, Glenn Frey’s guitar technician stated categorically, “The Shenandoah is the best acoustic amp I’ve ever heard”.
The Eagles are currently scheduled for all U.S. dates but will be traveling the globe in the next two years.

Paul, I've found that if I step on the very tip of his tail, I get a perfect E... for down tuning, i've found the need to capo up to the base of the tail, where he usually produces a crystal clear D squelch!

p.s. I'd tell you how I used to be able to tune Banjo's with him...but I had him neutered since then. |

Used to have two, both from my daughter's moves, but took the Coon cat back to Cleveland this past Christmas - Thomas Jefferson, aka T.J. or Goo Goo, very talkative and often gave reviews of the guitar playing...harsh critic, worse than Simon. Only cat I ever knew that could say "crab cakes." |

Not to get off-topic or anything, but could you tell me a little more about the amp? How old is it? Do you still have manuals? Any issues that you know of? etc, etc. I may be interested in buying it. I run a Christian camp and lead worship at our camp. We have a house PA that I plug into most of the time, but would like to have something portable as well. Also, right now I don't have any stage monitors. Could this amp be used for that purpose as well? Finally, I've recently bought a couple old Ovation hard bodies and am beginning to play those a bit but am using a pretty bad practice amp. Would your amp be good with these electrics or does it work well only with acoustic/electrics/? Thanks for your help.
By the way, I was truly inspired by all of the dog talk! I have two golden retriever puppies and a really old mixed breed that sing backup in our worship band. Dogs can be used for more than just tuning purposes! |

The amp is barely used, and there are no issues. A manual can easily be downloaded.
Among its other features, this amp makes a terrific stage monitor because it can function as a DI. Plug into the amp, run a line out to your sound system.
It will also serve well for guitar AND a vocal mic. There are XLR inputs.
You can play electric guitars through it, but it isn't designed for them and they won't sound as good as through an amp whose inputs are structured for magnetic pickups.
Blessings on the use of puppies. They are hard to keep in tune and on meter, and tend to very easily become howlier than thou. |
