Hello all: I am looking to sell an Ovation Classical 1122-4. It's condition is excellent with a hard case. I can't find anywhere to determine it's value. Any help is much appreciated. Steve Warp (Tacoma, Wa)

This is the Classic Balladeer, built in the early to mid 1970's. It was a shallow bowl (now known as a mid depth bowl) with VT 10 bracing, chrome tuners, and an A grade spruce top. It had the classical flat fingerboard with a 2" nut width.

I've got no idea how much it's worth. $300? $400?

Steve and Paul,

Sorry for the naive question, but is this a "classical" (i.e. nylon string) guitar?

If so, Steve, I may be interested in it....

Thanks guys.

It's a classical, but it doesn't have a deep bowl. It also doesn't have electronics unless addred later (not a bad thing). It's probably a pretty nice guitar. Ovation only built them for a while in the 1970's, maybe 5-6 years.
