Has anyone used Cleatones Strings for their 6 or 12 string Ovations? My 6751LX was set up with Adamas strings and the sound pretty good. I'm putting an order together for "Just Strings," and I was curious which strings most of you prefer. Thanks! :cool:

By chance I set my deluxe balladeer with PhosBronze Cleartone light. I have to say they are preatty good and lasting. Nice rich full tone. I strung the guitar in january and still properly working. To much expensive anyhow. Retail price of 19 euro! Out of that I like adamas 1818 or PB d'addario light gauge or DR zebra E12.

Here in the Cleartone strings sell for :
12 string set : $26.99 Or $17.48 Euros
and
6 string set $16.99 0r $10.94 Euros

Thanks for your other string suggestion I now have a few more options. I've used DR strings on my bass they are pretty good. I'm not that great of bass player but I now have all the time I need to develop my playing skills.

~~~P.S. I like your Latin quotation.
I haven't tried Cleartone strings, so I can't help you on that one. You did ask what we prefer though, so I'll share that with you. After switching from D'Addario EJ16's, I was using Elixir PB Lights for about a year or so. In the last few months, I've been using D'Addario EJ11's which are an 80/20 light and Martin 80/20 lights. The last two seem pretty interchangeable to me and I'm very happy with them. Long lasting, good tone, and inexpensive.
