Original 1968 Shiny Bowl Deluxe Balladeer. You've read about them on this forum and now you can own a piece of history for yourself. One of the best sounding acoustic Ovations ever. Includes original Ovation HSC.

I received an email from an OFC member accusing me of false advertising because the case in the photo is "obviously not the original case because it is not brown". I replied to him, but his mail is blocked. So if you are reading this (I don't know who you are from your email address), please reveal yourself right here so we can all tell you that you have NO FREAKING idea what you are talking about. Obviously you know your brown cases - congratulations. What you seem to NOT know is that before the brown molded case was introduced, all new Ovations came in nice wooden hardshell cases made by Gieb or Lifton. The case in my photo is the original 1968 Gieb case that came with the guitar - no question about it.

There is nothing wrong with someone attempting to correct what they perceive is an error but I have bought from Dave, been helped by his knowledge and experience with Ovations and Adamas, and I am impressed. He drove all of the way from Phoenix for the SoCal get-together and is creating an excellent website for Ovations and Adamas. :) :)

I deleted the email in question. But it was not just someone pointing out something they thought was an error. Comments like "you should stop trying to deceive buyers with your know-it-all statements". This guy got out of the wrong side of the bed today. Wait... Tony... was it YOU ??? Just kidding (ha ha). I've already moved on.
