I would like your opinions or offers or even trades for my 1778-4 LX. I got it in Feb from AL and it has no damage or issues. One course of action I have thought of is to send it to the Factory for a look at and buff out any pick lines first.

Why? - I have my eye on a "new" 1768 LTD at a local store and I need to know what what my options are. Some of you are "in-waiting" for an LX to reach you and if you don't mind the idea of me having my hands all over this one first (it is proven and has actually been darkening to amber and richening in tone).

Cash, Trades, Criticism or whatever. As long as it is legal tender or Ovational!

May even come with a couple of reversable TRCs and Pearloid tuners.

Wood-man, Have you played your LX next to the LTD? The LTD is Ovations most beautiful guitar ever, in my opinion. But just curious how you think the sound compares to your LX.

Good point Dave. The Sound was not what was driving my decisions. The Elite LX has what I think is a more responsive and vibrant sound. The LTD has a very rich sound of its own.

I can still get another Elite LX if I really miss it (and I will) but the LTDs are ltd.
I see it as a very desirable and playable guitar.

A flavor of Ice Cream that doesn't show up that often.

My funds and quotient for instruments has limits.
