Opinions. Have tried to get some answers and pics of his case. Have not hear from him. (Ebay)

Was also looking at the Adamas 1147 but the guy can't sent the correct pics because he is on the road... Told me to bid anyway and I would be happy. Seems like quite a risk seeing that the pics aren't up and he has (0) feedback. Sounds like a very nice guitar. :D

On the De Miola...unless he switched cases, doubt it you'd be upset about the case. If it has met reserve already, he has undervalued it. Usually this model has a slightly better resale than the CL.

Wouldn't be surprised to see it go over $1,450.

30th Anniv CL was out this year the first week of January. Not sure when this model was out but believe it wasn't available until April.

Derby,
This looks like the same Ad model listed at a dealer from Jersey on gbase. I believe they had it advertised at $895 with no mention of the case. But the best way get an idea is to pull up gbase.com do a search for ovation just scroll along till you see the listing, casually give the dealer a call to inquire about the model..It verey well may be the same dealer that's listed this. either that or it was on consignment and the owner decide to put it on ebay. May be worth a shot.

Terry and Steve,

This is the same from eBay and the website (Golden Age Fretted Instruments.)

Just finished calling John Reynolds (formerly of Mandolin Brothers) and bought it from his store for the $895. The guitar came in to him w/o the OHSC and he put it into an older "good" case.

eBay shows I won the auction but only because seller goofed and didn't close it correctly.

Tony,
Congrats!Glad it found a good home. The price was so good I was trying to see if I could come up with the funds. Looks like my 6 String O is not to be at this time. There's always later.
Enjoy!

I knew of two potential buyers that were planning to go to at least $1,400 - one from Europe. Made sense to "pull the pin" early.

I had a bid of $850 but I knew that it would have gone above that at the end.

New, I've seen this for $1,750-1,999 as it is a 2004. Seller didn't know what he had...didn't realize it was a 2004. Has a great 1991 Collector's on his website that he has probably priced too high although he might negotiate. 1991 has the OP-24 but he has a picture of an OP-50, two pictures that look more like an Elite-T.
