I got a tombstone hand and a graveyard mind,
Just 79 and I don't mind dying,
Who do you love?

An innovator for sure, he'll be missed.

Now I'll have that shuffle of his in my head all day. He had some catchy tunes.

He was a pathfinder, musically for me.
RIP Bo, I'll play some of your songs tonight. I hope you hear it.

He lived in Archer, a bedroom community just outside of Gainesville. I had numerous opportunities to see him perform over the years and he never disappointed. Thanks for all the memories, Bo. You'll be missed.

He was a pioneer and an innovator. Don't see a lot of that anymore. He will be missed.

I liked the quote about receiving awards.

Diddley appreciated the honors he received, ''but it didn't put no figures in my checkbook.''

"Elvis Presley did not invent Rock & Roll...
I have been wondering how long I will have to wait around until someone gives credit where credit is Due!"
-- Bo Diddley

Just heard/saw that on the News...

The crowd is getting thinner...

Now when I was a little boy,
At the age of five,
I had somethin in my pocket,
Keep a lot of folks alive.

Now Im a man,
Made twenty-one,
You know baby,
We can have a lot of fun.

Im a man,
I spell m-a-n...man.

All you pretty women,
Stand in line,
I can make love to you baby,
In an hours time.

Im a man,
I spell m-a-n...man.

I goin back down,
To kansas to
Bring back the second cousin,
Little john the conqueroo.

Im a man,
I spell m-a-n...man.

The line I shoot,
Will never miss,
The way I make love to em,
They cant resist.

Im a man,
I spell m-a-n...man.

Yes Bo, you were! R.I.P.
