Location: Pacific Northwest Inland Empire | Anybody have an extra, gold, tuner-button screw? My '82 Collector's is missing a screw, and I don't want to cannabalize one of the other critters.
Thanks! |

I would gladly help you out, but don't have the part. Two suggestions: try a really well equipped hardware store or contact Kim Keller or John Budny at Ovation customer service. |

Location: Lafayette, Louisiana | Are you talking about the screw that secures the tuner on the back of the peghead? If that is what you need, email me I have a few of them I could give you. |

I have no tuner knob screws. Got everything but. If it is the tuner body to peghead I have many in Chrome/SS.
Call the Cavalry in Connecticut. |

Location: Lafayette, Louisiana | Sorry I read your thread wrong. You want the screw that holds the tuner button on. I have a bunch of those in gold. |

Location: Pacific Northwest Inland Empire | Too cool, Paul! I'll send you some mail with my address. And, sorry Senor Blanchard, I didn't realize there was another OFC player in the race. If it's any consolation, there is some considerable rehab work to do on this critter. It may end up at The MotherShip. BTW, the serial # is 431 (of 1809, I think). |

Location: Minden, Nebraska | Chris, you were the first bidder. I was pretty sure from your user ID who you were. But I had contacted the seller the first hour that guitar was on eBay about its true identity, and had a bid ready as soon as he confirmed it as an '82 Collectors. Probably good I didn't win it, though. Let us know how you come out with it.
My eBay user name is roundback. |

Location: Pacific Northwest Inland Empire | Thanks, Roundback! You surf & bid FleaBay about as much as I do! Regarding this project, as the Twelve-steppers are fond of saying, "It's a process, not a destination." I figure about 6 months to a year to get it back to quasi-normal. It was "ridden hard, and put away wet" for a long time, it appears.
Thanks for your good wishes, and I will update The Membership periodically. |
