Hello all,

I was wondering recently how long i could continue to expect the nylon saddles on my breadwinner to last. So, in the spirit of this dread, i have decided to put out some feelers for replacements/backups. Does anyone have any Bridges for a Deacon/Breadwinner in good condition? I am interested in all 3 types, the original bridge with both nylon and brass saddles, as well as the schaller bridge (for which i would need new bridge bolts i believe?)

oh, silver definitely. unless of course your'e just talking about the bridge saddles in which case brass is an option. however, if you are referring to the schaller bridge, my choice would be silver. i play in the sort of group where if i showed up with gold hardware, it would take a while for me to live it down :)
