Oh well, I will keep my eyes open for a relist but talking to Tony, Al sounds like the best bet for a great price. ;)

Most of us haven't seen the guitar but we do have enthisiastic response from some of the OFC'ers who were at NAMM. At least for me, this was sufficient to order one from Al without being to check it out first. LX & new bowl - good combination.
I asked the seller:
"The Collector's are numbered, i.e., # 3 of 700. Do you know what number this guitar has?"
Response:
"We do not know the answer. However, I will ask for the lowest number possible from the folks at Kaman if you wish."
I said 700 - no idea what Ovation intends to make.
So appears they do not have the guitar in hand...probably best chance at a lower number and speedy delivery is to get one of the guitars Al had already ordered. |

Tony has probably purchased 6-8 from Al (maybe more).
We support the "idiot who sells gear"!
What about you....what are your totals? ;)

Will check this out and see how legit it is!!!
Sweet deal if true....if not, one of the new 4 that Al just got in will probably have my name on it very soon :D :D

Just shows that it is always good to be high bidder even if it doesn't hit reserve. That's how I got one of my 6759's.
Has to be the lowest price that a new Collector's will be available for. |
