Spider, They say that the Adamas Series started with SN 0077. The model# should be 1687?
I like it in "plain" brown... it looks warm and says "pick me up, hold me, play me, all night long". ;)

You will probably get this guitar's whole story when members on this side of the globe start waking up with the sun in a few hours.

How much are they selling it for in Japan? You can be Stephen's and my purchasing agent.

ah... come on Spider... it does not have any gold dust, just a plain brown top, no one in Japan is going to want such a plain Adamas, send it back to us so we can at least have the factory put on the gold dust.

On a serious note, did you email samova or miles for help?

Can you find me a Yairi yb13 or yb15? To my knowledge, they were not released to the U.S.

Hi, samova for long time, I guess you know me I am the guy who bought your,,,,,

Yeah, the top looks weird.. I think so too. It means the status is different from when you owned it? I had an e-mail from Elias. He did let me know the history. It is interesting now it is in Japan.

Ok, what price do you guess at auction end? it will be end at 7th this month.

guess what!

Yeah, noah If I find the both, let you know. but you find early adamas for me first (lol.

sorry for my poor Eng.

Al,its possible you may have owned it once as well.I bought it from an Ovation employee many years back along with 7 other guitars. It went to california for a while, them to me then to a guy(cant remeber name)from Miss. who probably sold it to Japan. The guitar did not sound good at all.The top looked like it was redone and the finish looked like someone spray painted it with a can of crylon from home depot. It was "butt ugly".The neck and fingerboard had issues and the top kept making these weird popping noises due to the extra paint on the top that seemed not to have adhered properly to the graphite..asside from that it was perfect

Spider,im sure it will bring lots of money because it is an early adamas, maybe $2000 or more
