Good Morning,

I have a Early 90's Ovation for sale and I'm not sure what it is worth. I would really appreciate any info and guidance in determining how much it is worth. Or if somebody would like to make me an offer, I would gladly entertain the idea. Please let me know what you think.

I've invested a little of $200 in having the electronics replaced and everybody that plays it, loves it.

Thanks.

I have seen Torch Top Pinnacles sell for less than you spent on the electronics, and I have seen them sell for a lot more. Yours obviously has an updated preamp and that is a plus, as is the original case.

The value is hard to determine, but in my opinion -- since you asked for it -- it is worth $300-$350, since one can buy a USA model with an equally good preamp in that range if blesed/lucky or a much better guitar for not much more money.

Your best chance is eBay, where that pretty maple laminate might catch someone's eye. They really do look nice, imho, but the sound doesn't quite match the look.
