I'm going off for the summer this year and my shallow body wont cut it unplugged. Anybody have an old deep bowl in good shape they'd be willing to part with for $200-300ish? I dont really mind whether or not it has electronics or finish damage, ,or what year it is, just as long as its an american o in good playing shape ;)

Check out this one on eBay. It's a 1112-1, according to the seller, and it's suppose to be in excellent condition. I would have gone for it, but it doesn't have any pickup. The only thing is no case is included. Here's the link:

Location: Upper Left USA | It is a "77"-"78" Custom Balladeer! I have a "74" and it is a lovely guitar. That price is good and the guitar does look to be in outstanding condition.
Like W2 says, back then the Balladeer was meant to be a no frills workhorse. An affordable instrument that could compare to the best in sound and surpass them in durability!
If you want some extra "Bling" add a Bill Nichols Bald eagle inlaid TRC like I did!
I saw that one and thought hard about picking it up. I reminded myself that:
a) I already had one!
b) My wife would kill me! |
